The career I chose to zone in on was an Art Therapist. People doing this job need to be a Licensed mental health professional trained in psychology as well as visual arts. A typical day for someone who is an art therapist may be talking to a person using psychotherapy as well as a mix of art integrated. These college majors are what is required for it studio art, psychology, and art education, a total of 18 studio art credits and 12 psychology credits. The main schools that offer this are NYU, Pratt Institute, School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and Drexel University.
