Reflection Essay
Throughout all my years at Maggie Walker Art 3 has been the hardest. Its heavy on Art history, which I did learn a lot about but its not my favorite. Also just techniques and vocabulary and general theres so much to learn. I have learned many things while in Art 3, some including how to oil paint, abstract painting, sculpture and how to manage my time for art works. I've seen the greatest improvement in my overall expression of ideas, I'll just go with an idea rather than

Abstract painting
I started off with a smaller piece just figuring out the basics which I didn't really understand until I finished it. After I started the bigger piece I followed all the guidelines coach hall said and its been coming out nicely. The biggest challenge for me is not having my focal point right in the middle. Portrait Clay Sculpture
The initial part of setting the sculpture up is the easy part. The hardest part is trying to get your sculpture to have a sense of realism, it just stares at you with blank eyes, not looking like you whatsoever. The material isn't too hard to work with its the likeness that's really challenging to get right. I feel its not the best it could be but I did improve with using clay over the span of this project.

Artist Copy Drawing
Here I copied Goya's drawing An Heroic Feat! With Dead Men! (Grande Hazaña! Con Muertos!) 1810-1815 (printed 1863). It took me awhile initially to get the contrast right with the pen and ink while still using Goya's mark. The most challenging part for me was getting the way of his marks correct he uses angles that I'm not really used to going more up rather than like a normal 45 degree hatch mark. I also noticed while doing this artist copy drawing that when he has something
